The Siam - Burma Railway Revisited

June 1948

These photographs were taken by my father, Harold Helps, an ex POW on the railway. Prior to the war (and subsequently) he worked for Fraser & Neave in Singapore.

The photographs were scanned from an original album and include a typed transcript of a pencilled letter my father sent home at the end of the war.
